I’m Luis, the youngest of the family trio at EBERWEIN FILM. My path led me – traditionally – via the camera to the film camera. Today it is a RED Komodo (6K) and the brand new RED V-RAPTOR (8K) that gives me / us fantastic pictures. To be a cameraman is a vocation for me. The camera is the digital eye that captures my impressions forever and turns them into a film in the end. On the one hand it is a creative profession, on the other hand it is quite technical and sometimes quite exhausting. Physically too. I love that. Especially when you have been using the camera for many hours, changing hundreds of lenses, changing filters, placing flags and moving lamp tripods. When at the end of a day of shooting the last clapperboard is hit and “everything is in the box”. This is my world.
