I am Thomas (59), founder of EBERWEIN FILM. After more than 20 years in advertising agencies – most recently as COO at Ogilvy & Mather (2000–2009) – I decided in 2010 to follow my true passion: filmmaking. Turning that passion into a profession was the best decision I ever made.
Over the years, we’ve produced more than 300 films. Today, my focus lies on concept development, producing and commercial strategy. I’ve handed over the creative work on set and in post to the next generation – to my sons Leon (directing) and Luis (camera) – two creatives who bring heart, professionalism, creativity and joy to every project.
Together with our extended network of brilliant collaborators and in close cooperation with some of the most talented young filmmakers from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, they shape the visual core of our work.
Personally, I’m currently diving deep into the world of AI – like all of us here. As a company, we are evolving toward a hybrid model of filmmaking and are committed to delivering meaningful, visible results in the field of AI-powered production.
