I am Thomas. Name giver and owner. After more than 20 years working in advertising agencies (most recently Ogilvy & Mather 2000-2009), in 2010 it was time to take care of my real calling – filmmaking. Turning my passion into a profession was the best idea I ever had. To date, I have made more than 200 films. Today I am a director, cinematographer, photographer, producer, editor, musician and composer all in one. I am supported by my sons – Leon (director) & Luis (camera) – and a large number of great freelance colleagues from all areas of film. Since 1991 I live in Düsseldorf, where EBERWEIN FILM is based. The additional location in Mallorca is planned.
